3x3 Tournament Rules
Each team shall consist of 4 to 5 players (3 players on the court and 1 to 2 substitutes). Each team must have at least one boy or one girl. One girl must always be on the court.
Each game shall consist of 1 supervisor that will keep track of the time and score.
Home team will shoot for ball at the start of each game.
The first team to 12 points wins the game.
Every successful shot inside the arc shall be awarded 1 point. Every successful shot behind the arc shall be awarded 2 points. Every successful free throw shall be awarded 1 point.
After a basket has been scored or a foul called, a player must put the ball in play from a line past the three-point line above the foul key.
All held balls will be put into play behind the three-point line with possession given alternately to each team.
On defensive rebounds or steals, players must return the ball by dribble or pass across the three-point line before a basket may be attempted. Once across the line, they do not have to pass the ball before shooting.
After a basket, the team scored upon will put the ball in play.
Fouls during the act of shooting inside the arc shall be awarded 1 free throw, whilst fouls during the act of shooting behind the arc shall be awarded 2 free throws. Fouls during the act of shooting followed by a successful field goal shall be awarded 1 additional free throw. All non-shooting fouls will result in the offended team taking the ball at the top of the arch. All free-throws will have players lined up in the lane lines and play live one release.
Substitutions may be made after a basket or an out of bounds play.
Each team is allowed one 30-second timeout.
